Ok, so yeah, I'll admit it's the number two music college (after Juilliard) and number one school of jazz. But really, when two-thirds of the campus is filled with pot-bellied drunks and horny little sluts whose goal in life is to attain unachievable weights and break the abortion record, UNT's credibility is flaky at the very best. Granted, there exists a smattering of Asian exchange students who dress like twelve maxed-out credit cards, as well as a handful of extremely talented brass instrumentalists, but overall, I have to say that is MIT is the female face of higher level education, UNT would probably qualify as the male armpit.

MIT, on one hand, is futile high maintenance over a single pimple (those suicides over a 3.99 GPA really say something don't they?) . UNT, on the other hand, is a cesspit of drop dead gorgeous bimbos with 6-inch waists and scraggly, hairy, buff men offering "brownies" to passing sixteen-year olds (yes, that really happened to me). The majority smell as bad as an armpit too, although whether that is because they're covered in drunken vomit, cigarette smoke, or simply don't shower is entirely up to debate. I don't pay much attention anymore. All I know is that when I walk up the ashtray-lined steps to the Language Building, I have a single goal: make it into the building while I still have oxygen left in me. Ready? Set? Sucked in all your breath yet? You sure? Ok, go! *mad dash towards doors*

I love eavesdropping. When I make an 89 in Calculus, I spend about two seconds slitting my wrists before my dad can get to them. ("Why are you complaining? You have a choices, you know. 4.0 or death. Now choose.") And then the guy next to me gets hyped up. "Dude, guess what, I just made a 59! I ALMOST passed! omfgwtfbbqh4x!" I really love these people. They make me look/feel good. I try to forget that these people aren't the ones I'll be competing with when I apply to a college for real (I'll explain this later). Plenty of time to shoot myself in the head then.

I'm mean. I'm evil. I'm dissing UNT, and I attend the stupid school.

I am an Asian girl with squinty eyes, and a Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science student studying on the UNT campus. I live (ew), eat (eeew), and breathe (*gag and sputter*) here. I'm sixteen and a high school sophomore, and I'll be graduating next year. In your face GPA whores! I spend a total of two years experiencing (suffering) the college life while completing a grand total of four years of school - last two years of high school and first two years of undergraduate. We TAMS students are (supposed to be) top notch, gathered from the top ranking students in the state. In terms of credibility, here's how it's supposed to be:

UNT students < dancing pig on a unicycle < Texas public education students < Asian exchange students < Wikipedia < Jazz/music majors < TAMS students.

And here's how it really is:

Pig < Asian xenophobes < Wiki < UNT/Jazz druggies < TAMS GPA whores < Texas tards.

Sad isn't it? The friends I left behind in my old district, Plano, before I came to this godforsaken hellhole, learned more in a week than I have in two semesters here.
